La idea de la película nació tras leer en un artículo en el que se decía que era bastante habitual que las personas homosexuales que habían vivido con relativa normalidad su condición sexual, cuando ingresan en una residencia de la tercera edad volvían al armario, explican sus directores.\nVicente está interpretado por José Ramón Soroiz («Cinco lobitos») mientras que Nagore Aranburu («Los domingos») interpreta a su hija.\n
